A dense and mineral bonarda with fresh black cherries, graphite, white pepper, oyster shell, dark spices and exotic herbs. The full-bodied palate has lots of chalky tannins on offer, showing a fine austerity to the cherry fruit of bonarda. Not a lot of flesh but rather more structured and chalky. Drink or hold.
