92 Vinous
The NV Alpasion Old School is a blend of the 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 vintages of Malbec, Cabernet Franc and Syrah, all of which were aged at length in an oxidative style. The nose presents notes of resin, syrup and hints of camphor before the oaky aromas take hold. The palate is measured, like a port, well-integrated and full of flavor with rounded, faintly reactive tannins.
